A Bordeaux surprise proposal
Ever heard of Bordeaux? Well, it’s only regarded as the very essence of elegance. From the wine to the 18th century architecture that lines its streets. Bordeaux has something for everyone, and for our traveler of the week, Ryan, it was the perfect place to pop “the big question.”
To cement this surprise proposal for a very special lady, Ryan with the help of Shoot My Travel found local photographer Thierry. With the photographer in place, the atmosphere set for the big moment, and Ryan was rearing to go, it was no surprise she said yes!
With the euphoria that surrounded Ryan and his new fiancé, it was Thierry's moment to shine and he put the city’s architecture to work; going from monument to monument and finally landing in front of Le Miror d’eau, a giant reflecting pool, in Bordeaux’s city center.
Now, not to say that the Eiffel Tower isn’t romantic, but Bordeaux has romance to spare. Ryan took a chance in many different ways on this trip, and it’s safe to say that he wasn’t disappointed.
