What a year 2017!
It's New Year's Eve, and everyone is already thinking about the new year ahead. Making New Year's resolutions is vital to us, but before we bring out our pen and paper to write our goals for the coming year, we can't let 2017 pass us by without feeling incredibly grateful. For us at Shoot My Travel, 2017 had lots of exciting and monumental milestones.
We launched our iOS app, yay!!! Our platform is the first vacation photography app in the market providing our service at the tips of your fingertips. How amazing is that?
We put our stamp on the print, television and online markets. From local Miami-based to nationwide outlets. We started the year with a feature in The New York Times! We were also featured in our local newspaper,
The Miami New Times, and on NBC6 show, Deco Drive.
CNN went behind the scenes and shot a Shoot My Travel experience for their Wander Musts segment and American Airlines, American Way Magazine, named us one of their top travel trends for 2018!
Travel is the name of the game but so is connecting with people, because life is about the people you meet (tweet it). By attending the Web Summit in Lisbon, the biggest tech summit in the world, and hosting photographer meet-ups all over the globe we shared with some of the most creative and forward-thinking people.
To make matters even more exciting, we were selected as finalists among 230 startups worldwide to be a part of Expedia and Hotels.com, Hotel JumpStart accelerator, which is an incredibly exciting venture that will open up a new realm of possibilities. Might this mean we are relocating to London? Could be!

We are so lucky to meet and work with so many talented and adventure-bound people every day. There just aren't enough words, or better yet pictures that can fully express how thankful we are. 2017 has been a phenomenal year, but we have plenty more up our sleeves for 2018. Be sure to stay tuned!
