Solo travel in Granada

Adriana Castro is a handbag and accessories designer. She traveled solo to the ever so beautiful region of Granada, Andalucía, Spain. The city of Granada and its cafes and buildings are very much colored in earthy and muted tones. Adriana picked the perfect outfit and accessories for these earthy backdrops, if we may say so ourselves! Granada is also home to the magical Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and to many charming courtyards and squares that are typical of European cities. It is the perfect place to explore on one’s own.

There is something truly extraordinary about traveling solo. It offers an experience unparalleled to any other.  It’s raw and authentic in that there is just simply you and your new surroundings. You and you alone act as your own navigator. You come home to yourself, learn and exceed your own limits, and depend wholly on your own inner compass to lead you. Because you are less likely to lose yourself in the plans of another, you face what is necessary and true for you and there is a peace in that. You make plans, or better yet, don’t, and float between the moments with a freedom and a coming and going that only solo travel can provide.
