It was an honor to be a part of the first Photo Walk at Apple store - Aventura!

Thank you @apple for allowing us to share our story and experiment with the new iPhone 11 Pro. The Apple team was amazing to work with.
We had a blast playing with the new night feature, creative angles, lighting, and smoke bombs!!

Nine years ago I decided to start shooting self-portraits inspired by the legendary Cindy Sherman. It wasn't the brightest moment in my life, I was living in my sister's couch, I was biking to school and had three jobs. I would head to school in the morning, take the train and bike from South Miami to Miami Beach to work as a secretary for real estate company, then I would then head to Lincoln road to work as a sales associate and at night I would take the bus to work as a crepe maker at a French bistro in Bal harbor until midnight. I had all the feelings during this period of my life and I saw photography as an outlet to express myself. I started with a 24-day self-portrait where every day I could capture a different feeling, I set up my camera on my tripod and took pictures all over the city to later post on my Flickr account. People would look at me as if I was a crazy person, criticize and laugh at me on the street. I could care-less and I kept going... This personal passion project evolved into client work... And client work evolved into building @shootmytravel, the first photographer marketplace founded by a Latina female founder that didn’t give up on her dreams and still doesn't... #todayatapple I had the honor of sharing my story....to be continued #shootmytravel
