Behind the scenes: Paris photographer meetup

Welcome to this special edition blog series! Join our founders as they meet with Shoot My Travel photographers in Amsterdam, Madrid, Lisbon, and Paris. Create meaningful personal connections, share our love for photography, and continue growing as a collective.

Let's travel to the city of love and light, Paris!

Oh, Paris, the city that started this dream and our last stop on our Europe trip. We had the honor of meeting three of our photographers, Stephanie, Pauline, and Meiry at a cozy and famous Parisian cafe, La caféothèque

While we sipped on a warm cup of coffee and hot chocolate, we all shared how we become photographers, hearing everyone's story was refreshing and familiar to ours. They fell in love with photography, the beauty of the craft, and the intricate and powerful meaning of capturing a moment in time. Having the chance to talk to them made us realize how important it is as founders to understand this passion-driven-career-path to continue growing.

We said our goodbyes to Stephanie and Pauline and continued the evening with Meiry to one of her favorites neighborhoods in the city that sits on a hill in the 18th arrondissement: Montmartre.

At its core, it's the Sacré Cœur Basilica,  surrounded by artists, crafters, and souvenir shops. We documented every step of our experience, and Meiry took stunning photos of us along the way, making us feel extra comfortable to be in front of the lens.

We finished our photo-experience in awe of this place, and history these streets hold famous for being an area built by the world's best-known artists in history like Van Gogh, Renoir, Matisse, and Picasso.
