Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic

Dear customers and fellow travelers,

I wanted to take a moment to check in with you today. The coronavirus COVID-19 is presenting us all with many unknowns. We at Shoot My Travel appreciate the trust you put in us to capture important memories, at home and abroad. So I wanted to personally reassure you that in this uncertain time, we are committed to continuing to provide you with safe, amazing photoshoot experiences. We also know that what you need more than anything is flexibility.

If you’re continuing to travel, we applaud you for supporting the global market, which needs us more than ever. Of course, follow State Department advisories, always use common sense, and book one of our photographers with confidence, knowing that should your travel plans change, our Customer Success Team is ready to help.

If you’re staying local, that’s great too! This is the perfect time to support your local economy and artists which are dependent on tourism and will be feeling the economic impact of COVID-19. Remember, some of our vacation photographers are also your local photographers! Book a local photoshoot and find some joy and calm by supporting your community and making beautiful memories with loved ones.

We are 100% committed to a flexible rescheduling policy. Not only can you reschedule for a later date, but photoshoots may be transferred to any other city, locally or abroad, with any available photographer. 

If you need to cancel, we’re waiving any cancellation and rescheduling fees. We will be issuing photoshoot credits which you can use at any time in the future, with no expiration date.

I’ll end by encouraging us all to remain calm, take deep breaths, and continue to make memories. As we say in my family, “todo pasa,” everything passes. And it is in the uncertain times that we should most celebrate life and the world around us.
