Your 2021 photoshoot checklist 📸

We made it to a new year!


And the start of a new year shouldn’t be filled with pressure but with dreams!  

What gets you excited about life? What makes you leap out of bed in the morning? What puts a smile on your face? Whatever your answers, that’s what your New Year's Resolutions should focus on: doing more of what you love, seeing more of the people you cherish, and making your dreams come true. 

And this year we want you to dream bigger than ever because this year we’re going to photograph you bigger than ever!


So while you still have that holiday cheer glowing on your cheeks and perhaps a New Year’s kiss tingling your lips, let’s come up with a 2021 photoshoot checklist that guarantees all your special moments, cherished holidays, and important goals get captured this year.

Family events & new beginnings

Forget the sugar plums, I’d be surprised if most of our heads aren’t dancing with visions of family, friends and new beginnings in this new year we’ve been longing for. For each of us, what that looks like will be different but the spirit will be the same. Picture the family and friends who bless your life and how you want to spend the year with them. Here are just some ideas:

  • Family Reunions (long awaited!)

  • Anniversaries (of all kinds!)

Each of these special events fills our hearts with joy and hope. And each deserves to have one of our local photographers fill your homes and years-to-come with photographic memories of them. 


Special holidays

Each year is a cycle of special dates on the calendar and the traditions that go with them. As 2021 unfolds before us, we’ll soon be celebrating the holidays and traditions that are closest to our hearts. Whichever holidays you celebrate and hold dear one thing is universal...we want to be ready and make the most of them! Think of the year ahead, what you’re looking forward to most, and how you want to capture it. Here is a sample list:

The truth is we can’t hire a professional photographer for every event and venture that fills our year. Life is often about prioritization and compromise So here are some tips to help you finalize your 2021 photoshoot checklist and get those important photoshoots booked:

  • Identify your top five photoshoots

  • Give special consideration to what you want to accomplish by the end of 2021 and make sure a photoshoot helps you achieve and document it

  • Keep an eye out for our many special offers throughout the year (sign up for our newsletter!)

  • For family events and vacations, ask family members to split the cost

  • Let friends and family know that a perfect gift would be one of our Gift Cards
